FWF-30E-I-BDL-950-60 combines the legacy FortiWiFi 30E appliance with a 60-month Unified Threat Protection term. It is a hardware-and-service bundle, not a renewal-only contract. Because the service duration extends five years, serial eligibility and platform support must be established before purchase.

30E hardware is a distinct low-port platform

Fortinet specifies one GE WAN port, four GE RJ45 switch ports, USB, RJ45 console and integrated 802.11a/b/g/n wireless. The radio does not include 802.11ac in the official 30E table. Confirm the I regional code and destination-country radio approval; another FortiWiFi region PID is not automatically interchangeable.

Term-to-lifecycle fit is the primary gate

The 60 suffix represents 60 months. Require Fortinet confirmation that the appliance serial can be registered and receive the purchased service through the entire requested term. Capture activation policy, support level, start/expiry dates, replacement rights and the supported FortiOS branch. A sealed legacy unit is not proof of a valid five-year entitlement.

UTP code and service evidence

Fortinet ordering references use 950 for the Unified Threat Protection family. Historical bundle contents can differ from current marketing tables. Accept the exact services only from the entitlement certificate and FortiGuard portal associated with the serial, including IPS, malware and web-security rights actually delivered.

Capacity and acceptance

Published maximums are 950Mbps firewall, 300Mbps IPS, 200Mbps NGFW and 150Mbps threat protection. Test the deployed inspection profile, WAN speed, VPN, wireless coverage, VLAN design, logging and update access. Verify PID/serial, adapter, radio region, FortiOS, clean registration and contract dates before commissioning.
