30 km 10 GE bidirectional SFP+ optic
FN-TRAN-SFP+BD33 is Fortinet's 10 GE SFP+ BiDi module for a 30 km single-mode-fiber link. It transmits at 1331 nm and receives at 1271 nm through one LC connector.
Required opposite-end optic
This is one side of a bidirectional optical pair. Fortinet specifies FN-TRAN-SFP+BD27 as the complementary module and states that it is ordered separately. A same-wavelength optic at both ends is not a valid substitution.
Electrical and environmental boundary
The official specification lists 10G-Base-LR/LW, IEEE 802.3ae, an 11.3 Gbps data-link rate, power below 1 W, and an operating range from -5°C to 85°C. The module supports hot plug, serial ID PROM, digital monitoring, auto negotiation and link status.
