The dual-rate ordering description does not mean every SFP28 host automatically supports both modes with this module. Verify the platform, software and port configuration for the intended line rate, and match that mode at the far end.

Fortinet lists 0°C to 70°C operation. Document the chosen rate, transceiver identity, optical path and required compatibility evidence. If a deployment later changes from 10 GE to 25 GE, repeat the mode and channel verification rather than assuming the previous test covers the new use.
