UTP Boundary

Unified Threat Protection extends the ATP network and malware controls with web and DNS security, video filtering and anti-botnet/C2 protection. Advanced DLP, IoT detection, inline malware prevention and attack-surface monitoring remain outside UTP unless separately licensed.

1 Year Governance

An annual contract supports near-term resizing or platform change. Align activation with current expiry, assign a renewal owner and review service use, software eligibility and VM placement before the next anniversary.

For this annual VM04 line, connect renewal to measured inspection load and the next capacity checkpoint. Capture recent CPU peaks, bypass rules, signature-update health and the last recovery exercise. The short term should be used to correct sizing quickly rather than perpetuate an unmeasured four-vCPU allocation.

Annual evidence should include a recent traffic sample, CPU-ready observation, policy-install timing and one verified configuration restore. Link the next renewal date to the capacity owner who can authorize a tier change without delaying security updates.
