FC-10-F6H1E-189-02-DD Configuration Migration Check

FC-10-F6H1E-189-02-DD is one FortiConverter configuration-conversion service request for an existing FortiGate 601E migration. It does not include the firewall appliance, deployment labor, ongoing management, FortiDeploy or a reusable FortiConverter tool license.

Target Acceptance

The platform token F6H1E identifies a storage-equipped high-capacity target. Document source appliances, both 601E SSDs, high-capacity handoffs, HA topology, VDOM or zone design, routes, policies and evidence requirements.

Partition the converted configuration by policy domain so large estates can be reviewed and staged. Translate names and interfaces deliberately rather than preserving ambiguous source conventions.

Test each handoff, HA, routing, VPNs, policy order, local logging and central export. Retain rollback files and keep storage custody separate from the conversion request.

A 601E conversion is divided by VDOM or policy domain, with a separate import, rollback and sign-off point for each high-capacity handoff. Build a local-log baseline on both SSDs before moving the next domain and compare it with central export. Rename ambiguous source objects according to the target standard rather than preserving vendor syntax. Architecture, security and evidence owners approve the combined production checksum.

Included Deliverable

Fortinet maps service code 189 to FortiConverter Service. The deliverable translates a supported third-party firewall configuration or another FortiGate configuration into a FortiOS configuration file for the named target. The customer still owns discovery, design decisions, validation, deployment, rollback and post-cutover acceptance.
