FC-10-F2H1G-284-02-60 is the Elite support tier for one eligible registered FortiGate 201G under accepted service-level and regional terms for 5 years. It is an FC service line, not physical FG hardware.

Storage-equipped 201G boundary

Validate exact SKU, serial, account, country, dates, prerequisites and FortiOS. The 201G provides local storage, but this order adds neither storage capacity nor a customer-owned external retention destination.

Acceptance procedure

Verify severity criteria, executive contacts, technical owners, site eligibility and evidence needed for priority handling. Run a tabletop that distinguishes critical edge failure from carrier or application faults.

Local and external evidence

Measure acknowledgement, diagnostic transfer, customer decision and closure delays separately. Preserve alternate decision makers and account recovery so priority access survives staff changes. Reconcile a known event across the 201G local store and the approved external destination.

Five-year evidence lifecycle

Review software support, load, local capacity, disk health, external ingestion, account custody and recovery every year. The service term does not guarantee that the original storage or topology remains suitable.

Early migration triggers

Set triggers for unsupported software, sustained load, media alerts, evidence loss, replacement constraints or architecture change. Link each trigger to funding, migration ownership and remaining-term treatment.

Successor and media proof

Before the final years, test representative policy behavior, configuration translation, local and external evidence and rollback on the intended successor. Plan required export and approved media disposition separately.

Long-term custody verification

After provider or personnel changes, require a second authorized operator to recover configuration, retrieve historical local and external evidence and explain certificate, account and escalation ownership without personal undocumented knowledge.

Final deauthorization

Preserve configuration, cases and evidence, transfer account ownership, remove credentials and document retirement of the old serial.

Excluded items

The line includes no appliance, security subscription, unlimited field engineering, undocumented service level, automatic incident approval or local evidence archive.
