FC-10-0500E-928-02-DD is an electronic Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) service entitlement for an existing FortiGate 500E. It does not include a FortiGate appliance, replacement chassis or physical shipment.

Bundle Boundary

Fortinet describes ATP as foundational protection for network and file threats. The current bundle includes intrusion prevention, anti-malware with antivirus and cloud-based sandboxing, application control and FortiCare Premium. Web and DNS filtering are UTP capabilities and must not be assumed from this ATP SKU.

Platform Acceptance

FortiGate 500E has its own campus-scale E-series service family between neighboring four-hundred and six-hundred platforms. Preserve the exact 500E platform token and align any long-running security service with the approved migration window. Record the high-availability design, critical north-south or segmentation role, centralized logging destination, change owner and last recovery test. The entitlement should be attached only after the FortiCare asset and physical deployment record agree. If the appliance is scheduled for replacement, the purchasing file must explain the required overlap rather than treating ATP as transferable inventory. Because this platform is recorded as diskless, confirm the external log and evidence-retention path separately from ATP coverage.

Campus acceptance should identify protected network boundaries, resilience design and the maintenance team that owns signature and engine updates. Preserve the business service dependency and migration milestone so reviewers can tell why continued ATP protection is required on this specific campus platform.
