91G storage-bearing platform

Match exact SKU, serial, account, country, dates, prerequisites and supported FortiOS. Unlike the diskless 90G, the 91G has local storage; local retention still requires capacity monitoring, export policy, backup ownership and an approved media-disposition path.

Service acceptance procedure

Match serial, FortiCloud account, tenant, region, branch object, assigned users and dates. Test intended cloud visibility and administrative-custody recovery.

Local-to-external evidence reconciliation

Pair tenant state with external tunnel, route and local-event exports. A local event proves edge behavior but not account ownership, cloud-user assignment or licensed quantity. A successful local lookup does not prove cloud ingestion, entitlement status or long-term retention.

Opening storage baseline

Record local capacity, health, retention settings, time synchronization and the external export destination when the annual term begins. Retrieve one known event locally and externally so a later gap has a dated comparison.

Quarterly evidence sample

Each quarter, sample an actual service outcome and its local record, then verify the external copy and responsible reviewer. Track disabled purchased capability separately from intentionally retained readiness.

Short-term capacity forecast

Project event growth through the annual expiry using observed daily volume and the configured retention policy. Record the point at which local rotation or external-ingestion delay would remove evidence needed for an incident or audit, then assign a corrective threshold rather than waiting for full storage.

Annual close

Before the last quarter ends, choose renewal, changed scope or retirement. Preserve remaining capacity, unresolved ingestion gaps, account ownership and the next budget action.

What this order does not include

The line includes no appliance, unlimited users, unspecified cloud functions, carrier connectivity, local archive or automatic transfer to replacement hardware.
