Contacta V15a+ combines two constant-current outputs with an integral phase shifter. It is designed for phased-array hearing loops in small and medium-sized facilities where spill control or room geometry requires two coordinated loop feeds.
Contacta specifies two phase-shifted outputs, each capable of 5 Arms at more than 15 Vrms. The integrated phase relationship is the primary functional difference from the single-output V15+ and must match the designed master and slave loop geometry.
Establish loop aspect ratio, segment width, conductor type, metal loss, listening height and required overspill control. Coverage tables are conditional examples, not a promise that every room of the same area will meet IEC 60118-4.
Measure each loop circuit, verify phase-array wiring, set current and high-frequency compensation, then test field strength and frequency response across the listening area and outside the intended boundary. Preserve the measurements and fault-monitoring results with the handover record.
