C9407R 96U Advantage Program Bundle

C9407R-96U-BNDL-1A is the program-specific C9407R 96U bundle variant built around the seven-slot chassis and a 96-port UPOE starting configuration. Order boundary: Cisco's public material documents the standard C9407R-96U-BNDL-A family, but the exact 1A program modifier and complete configurable BOM must be confirmed in Cisco Commerce Workspace before substitution.

Capacity and selection decision

Require the CCW export to identify the supervisor, two C9400-LC-48U cards, Advantage entitlement and term, every power supply and cord, support and any 1A eligibility condition. Two 48U cards occupy two of five line-card positions, leaving three for an approved expansion design.

Power and software configuration

Catalyst 9400 power supplies, regional cords, supervisor, line cards, Network Stack tier and Cisco DNA or Catalyst subscription selections are configurable order items. Calculate switching, PoE, redundancy, facility circuits and cooling from the final CCW BOM; an empty bay count is not a delivered supply count.

Receiving and commissioning evidence

At receiving, reconcile the exact 1A PID, chassis and supervisor serials, both 48U cards, occupied slots, fan, accessories, supplies, cords and entitlement deposit. Validate 96 access ports, UPOE budget, software release, alarms and uplink design.

Lifecycle-ready asset record

Store the final PID, serials, slot map, IOS XE release, entitlement term, Smart Account, power calculation, optics and configuration backup together. Future expansion must be checked against supervisor bandwidth, supported line-card combinations and the active software release.
