C9120AXP-E Professional-Install Wi-Fi 6 AP

C9120AXP-E is the E regulatory-domain version of Cisco's controller-based Catalyst 9120AXP access point. The AXP variant is designed for professional indoor installation with external antennas; antenna choice, placement and allowed transmit settings are part of the regulated design.

E-domain procurement gate

The final -E is not a cosmetic suffix. Verify that E is approved for the exact deployment country in Cisco's compliance tool before purchase, and preserve the country, domain and approval evidence. C9120AXP-D is a distinct D-domain PID and must not be substituted solely because the chassis family is the same.

Controller and software check

Cisco documents support from Unified Wireless Network Software 8.9.x or IOS XE 16.11 with the required AP Device Pack, while the actual controller/AP combination still depends on Cisco's compatibility matrix. Record controller model, release, AP authorization method and intended operating country.

Antenna-system boundary

This SKU does not by itself define a complete RF design. Confirm Cisco-supported external antenna PID, cable and connector losses, mounting orientation, channel plan, power source and local EIRP limit. An incorrect antenna or regulatory domain can make an otherwise functional AP noncompliant.
