C1-N5548UP-B-S32 32-Port Storage Bundle

C1-N5548UP-B-S32 is Cisco's Nexus 5548UP Storage Solutions Bundle with a 32-port storage services license. The license scope is the defining difference from the C1-N5K-C5548UP-FA standard hardware order.

Prove all 32 licensed storage ports

Reconcile the bundle PID, chassis serial, license files or entitlements and NX-OS output. Build a 32-port schedule showing Ethernet, Fibre Channel or FCoE mode, connected device and VSAN/VLAN role; physical port presence alone does not prove the storage-service entitlement.

Hardware receiving remains separate

Confirm chassis, fixed ports, expansion module, two power supplies, two fans, airflow and optics from the actual bill of materials. A storage Bundle description does not prove that optional Fibre Channel modules, transceivers, Layer 3 hardware or cabling are installed.

Fabric acceptance

Validate zoning, FCoE VLANs, DCB/PFC policy, vPC behavior and path failover in a staging window. Preserve switch and storage-side evidence so a 32-port license is not mistaken for 32 commissioned production paths.

No supported future

Cisco lists no replacement PID for this exact Bundle in the notice. End of sale was May 5, 2019, vulnerability/security support ended May 4, 2022 and final support ended May 31, 2024. Any purchase needs an immediate migration target and explicit security approval.
