Match the 9010 enclosure
The ASR 9010 has two RSP slots and eight line-card slots in a 21RU chassis. Its door dimensions and mounting geometry are not the same procurement item as the six-slot ASR-9006-DOOR. Confirm the chassis identity plate and existing bracket condition before ordering.
This is an external mechanical spare
No RSP, switch fabric, line card, transceiver, fan tray, power entry module, power module or software is supplied by this PID. The air filter and two-/four-post rack hardware are also separate Cisco items. Avoid quoting the door kit as a complete ASR 9010 system or a performance upgrade.
Acceptance emphasizes fit and service access
Inspect the frame, lock cylinder, keys, hinge points, latch and attachment hardware. Trial-fit the assembly without forcing the latch, and ensure the cable-management area remains clear. Record missing brackets or shipping damage before the component reaches the installation site.
