AIR-OEAP1810-S-K9 is Cisco's Aironet 1810 802.11ac Wave 2 OfficeExtend access point for the S regulatory domain. The suffix controls permitted radio operation; it is not a cosmetic regional label.

S-domain radio boundary

Cisco lists 13 non-overlapping 2.4 GHz channels from 2.412 to 2.472 GHz. The 5 GHz sets are eight channels at 5.180-5.320 GHz, eleven at 5.500-5.700 GHz and five at 5.745-5.825 GHz. Actual country rules and controller configuration can narrow those sets.

Do not substitute another domain

AIR-OEAP1810-B-K9 and AIR-OEAP1810-E-K9 have different regulatory identities and channel tables. Confirm the installation country in Cisco's current compliance lookup, then match the physical PID, controller country code and allowed domain before the AP is powered.

Controller and acceptance

Cisco's compatibility matrix covers 1810 OEAP from AireOS 8.2.110.0 through the 8.10 train. Record controller model/release, AP image, join test, remote tunnel reachability, SSID policy, wired-port behavior and power supply; do not assume Mobility Express capability.

Unsupported lifecycle

Cisco ended sale on October 30, 2019 and all support on October 31, 2024. Deployment now needs explicit security-risk acceptance, tested spare strategy and a migration plan; Cisco no longer provides product support for this retired AP.
