ICX7750-6Q Module Scope

ICX7750-6Q is the optional six-port 40GbE QSFP module listed in Ruckus ICX 7750 ordering information. Ruckus specifies it for ICX7750-48F, ICX7750-48C and ICX7750-26Q switches. The module does not include a chassis, power supplies, fans or optics.

Port and Host Planning

The module adds six QSFP 40GbE interfaces through the host switch's modular interface slot. On compatible models, the ICX 7750 family can use these interfaces for uplinks or stacking according to the installed FastIron release and topology. Confirm host model, empty module slot, supported software and optic or cable type before purchase.

Lifecycle and Licensing Boundary

Ruckus marks the ICX 7750 product family discontinued as of December 31, 2023 and identifies ICX 7850 as the replacement family. The ICX7750-6Q module does not itself provide the ICX7750-L3-COE entitlement, host switch, power or airflow components. Any migration must account for port speeds, stacking behavior, optics and licenses.

• Order ICX7750-6Q only for a compatible ICX 7750 host with an available module slot.
• Confirm six required 40GbE QSFP connections and supported transceivers or DACs.
• Do not describe the module as a complete switch or include host throughput specifications as module specifications.
• Review ICX 7850 migration before expanding a discontinued ICX 7750 installation.
