PAN-PA-3020 Hardware and Lifecycle Identity

PAN-PA-3020 identifies the PA-3020 appliance in Palo Alto Networks' PA-3000 Series. The official specification sheet lists 2 Gbps App-ID firewall throughput, 1 Gbps threat-prevention throughput and 500 Mbps IPsec VPN throughput. These are manufacturer test figures for this retired platform, not a promise of application performance in a specific deployment.

Interfaces and Replacement Planning

The chassis provides 12 10/100/1000 interfaces, eight SFP Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, a dedicated out-of-band management port, two high-availability ports and an RJ-45 console port. Palo Alto Networks records PAN-OS 9.1 as the last supported operating-system branch for the PA-3000 Series and identifies the PA-3400 Series as its migration path.
