Shipping, destination, warranty region and hardware receipt are part of fulfillment, while FortiGuard and FortiCare coverage must be selected as separate orderable services. Record the serial number after delivery and associate later entitlements with the correct customer account. This separation is useful when service terms, support levels or activation dates need to be quoted independently from the appliance.

Capacity planning should use the official threat-protection and session figures, not the higher raw firewall number, when security inspection will be active. It must not be confused with the 50G-5G: this platform description does not include cellular radios, SIM slots or antennas, and its service order code uses GT50G.

For 50G acceptance, map all five wired ports to the approved WAN, LAN and management roles and test the design with the actual security profiles enabled. Record inspected throughput, VPN demand, session growth and log forwarding during a representative busy period. The absence of cellular hardware should be stated in the design so a future failover requirement is not assumed to exist.
