FG-4201F-DC Variant Identity

FG-4201F-DC is a FortiGate 4200F Series high-end physical firewall. Fortinet documents two management RJ45 ports, twenty 25/10/1GE SFP28 positions when HA and AUX are included, and eight 100/40GE QSFP28 data interfaces. Each QSFP28 port can support an approved split configuration, while grouped SFP28 speed changes require coordinated planning.

DC resilience plus storage recovery

FG-4201F-DC combines two procurement differences: DC site power and the 4201F storage identity. Build separate evidence for feed redundancy, grounding and alarms, then for drive health, retention and log export. Test a controlled single-feed loss and a storage alert independently so one successful result cannot mask the other subsystem.
