FG-2600F Overview

AC-powered FortiGate 2600F without onboard storage

FG-2600F is the standard dual-AC model in the 2600F family. It provides the same no-storage network platform as FG-2600F-DC, but accepts 100-240VAC power rather than a -48VDC to -60VDC plant feed.

Dense 100/25/10GbE connectivity

Fortinet lists four 100/40GbE QSFP28 slots, sixteen 25/10/1GbE SFP28/SFP+/SFP slots, sixteen 10GbE/GE RJ45 ports, two 10GbE SFP+ HA slots and two Gigabit management ports. The appliance includes two short-range 10GbE SFP+ transceivers.

Security throughput

The enterprise-mix figures are 31 Gbps IPS, 27 Gbps NGFW and 25 Gbps threat protection. Firewall throughput is documented at 198/196/140 Gbps for 1518/512/64-byte UDP traffic, with performance dependent on configuration and enabled inspection.
