FC-10-GT71G-100-02-12 provides Advanced Malware Protection for one eligible FortiGate 71G over 12 months. Fortinet's current cloud subscription matrix associates the code 100 family with per-device FortiSandbox SaaS. This line enables a malware-analysis service on existing hardware and should not be described as a complete ATP, UTP or Enterprise package.

Define submission policy before activation

Identify inspected protocols, file types, size limits, privacy restrictions and traffic paths permitted to submit objects for cloud analysis. Confirm supported FortiOS behavior and cloud reachability. Preserve the approved data-handling decision with the service record.

Make verdicts operationally useful

Assign owners for malicious, suspicious, timeout and error results. Test that verdicts reach the expected logs and notification path, and document how analysts link a result to the originating host, user and session. A sandbox verdict without an owned response process does not complete the control.

Use the 71G evidence stores deliberately

Decide whether local logs on the storage-equipped 71G retain submission and enforcement evidence or whether a central platform is authoritative. Test retrieval after a controlled validation event and record the retention boundary.

Renewal scope decision

Review submission volume, verdict latency, true detections, false positives and response outcomes before expiry.
