FC-10-F6H1E-928-02-DD Entitlement Record

FC-10-F6H1E-928-02-DD is an electronic Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) service entitlement for an existing FortiGate 601E. It does not include a FortiGate appliance, replacement chassis or physical shipment.

Security-Service Scope

Fortinet describes ATP as foundational protection for network and file threats. The current bundle includes intrusion prevention, anti-malware with antivirus and cloud-based sandboxing, application control and FortiCare Premium. Web and DNS filtering are UTP capabilities and must not be assumed from this ATP SKU.

Lifecycle and Platform

FortiGate 601E is the storage-equipped sibling of FortiGate 600E. Verify the final model digit, both onboard drives and the registered serial before activation. Document local log purpose, retention limit, disk-alert owner, export schedule and the external evidence repository; ATP service does not replace those storage controls. For high availability, record the paired serial and whether both assets require separate coverage under the current licensing arrangement. The procurement file should also align the service end date with the 601E lifecycle decision, because a long subscription must not silently outlive an approved platform migration. Local storage remains an operational asset to monitor; ATP does not replace disk-health or log-retention controls.

Attach the storage-monitoring owner, recent drive-health evidence and local-to-central export policy to the entitlement record. This makes the stored-event role auditable and prevents the service purchase from being mistaken for coverage of disk failure, retention design or replacement hardware.
