FC-10-F6H0E-179-02-DD Historical Service Identity

FC-10-F6H0E-179-02-DD is the historical per-device FortiManager Cloud subscription for one existing FortiGate 600E. It provided cloud-based central management and orchestration; it did not include the firewall appliance, security subscriptions, managed operations or replacement hardware.

Lifecycle and Replacement

Fortinet states that the FC-[model]-179-02-DD individual FortiGate subscription family is EOL/EOO. Current procurement uses capacity-based multi-device subscriptions, so a buyer must size managed devices or VDOMs and confirm the FortiCare account, region and migration path instead of ordering this old SKU as if it were current.

FortiGate 600E Migration Acceptance

The 600E onboarding plan should model the actual HA and segmentation design. Associate both serials correctly, confirm device roles and retrieve synchronized revisions before centralized installation. Test a change that affects only a noncritical policy, observe peer synchronization, then roll it back from the approved revision. Separate cloud account administration from policy approval, and retain evidence for routing, VPN, security profiles and HA state so a green manager status is not mistaken for service acceptance.

The decisive 600E test is peer consistency after a managed change. Capture checksums or revision identifiers for both members, perform an approved update, observe synchronization and repeat the comparison after rollback. If the manager sees one logical device while operations sees two different states, stop acceptance. The HA owner, not merely the cloud administrator, signs the result.

• Confirm appliance serial, FortiOS, FortiCare account, region, device or VDOM capacity and current replacement SKU.
• Back up configuration and inventory policy packages, local exceptions, scripts, administrator roles and revision history.
• Preview and test one reversible change, local result, audit trail, rollback and cloud-outage procedure.
• Record configuration authority, approvers, emergency access, unsupported items and migration acceptance.
