FC-10-0500E-131-02-DD Cloud Subscription Identity

FC-10-0500E-131-02-DD is the FortiGate Cloud Standard subscription for one existing FortiGate 500E. It provides cloud management, analytics and one-year rolling log retention; it does not include a firewall appliance, replacement hardware or a managed operations team.

Hosted Service Scope

Fortinet maps service code 131 to FortiGate Cloud Standard. The hosted service supports centralized device management, dashboards, traffic and security analytics, scheduled reporting, configuration backup, firmware workflows and audit records. An active device registration and compatible FortiOS configuration are required.

Before activation, match the appliance serial and FortiCloud account, confirm the intended management region, review administrator roles and define required log classes. For an HA pair, licensing and registration must be checked per device rather than assumed from the cluster name.

Platform Logging Plan

The platform token 0500E maps to a diskless E-series campus firewall. List the 500E serial, two 10Gb handoffs, campus segments, FortiLink scope, cloud account, reports and alert recipients.

Build dashboards separately for staff, guest, server and managed-device traffic so campus anomalies can be assigned to the correct owner. Limit administrator roles and review scheduled report recipients.

Sample all material segments, confirm event and identity context, test alert delivery and retrieve a configuration backup. Remove stale recipients and temporary administrator access after acceptance.
