FC-10-00307-980-02-DD Historical Bundle Identity

FC-10-00307-980-02-DD is a historical Enterprise Protection subscription combining FortiCare with application control, IPS, antivirus, web filtering, antispam, cloud sandbox, security rating and other platform-dependent services for one existing FortiGate 301E. It is a service entitlement for an existing appliance; it does not include firewall hardware, automatic deployment, endpoint protection, managed operations or a guarantee that every historical component remains orderable.

The DD suffix represents a variable-duration ordering record. Contract dates, service composition and current successor codes must come from the quote and registered serial rather than being inferred from the URL.

Composition and Lifecycle

Historical Enterprise Protection composition changed over time. Validate every required service against current Fortinet ordering information and the platform release; do not copy inclusions or cloud-user allowances from a different model or generation.

FortiGate 301E Acceptance

For the 301E, preserve local event evidence while testing the historical protection bundle. Generate approved security events from distinct policy paths, compare their local timestamps with the configured reporting destination and document exception handling. Interrupt only log transport, not inspection, and reconcile late records after recovery. Verify contract dates and service updates before treating a successful local test as proof of current entitlement.
