N5K-C5672UP-16G Overview
N5K-C5672UP-16G Port Boundary
N5K-C5672UP-16G has 48 fixed 10GbE SFP+ interfaces. The first 24 support 1/10GbE, while the last 24 are unified ports supporting 10GbE, FCoE and 2/4/8/16-Gbps Fibre Channel. Six QSFP+ ports provide 40GbE and can expand to 10GbE lanes with supported breakout cables.
Difference from N5K-C5672UP
The 16G PID is not the same port profile as N5K-C5672UP. Cisco documents 24 Fibre Channel-capable unified ports on N5K-C5672UP-16G, compared with 16 unified ports on the standard 5672UP. Fibre Channel optics and SAN configuration must be matched to the unified-port range.
