Cisco lists FPR1010-NGFW-K9 as the desktop FTD appliance with PoE. The separately named 1010E order lacks PoE. For a small site with powered endpoints, confirm the full order identifier rather than relying on the shared Firepower 1010 family description.
The 1010 provides eight Gigabit Ethernet data interfaces; ports 7 and 8 can supply PoE+. They are part of those eight interfaces, not additional data ports. Check the power adapter, supported power budget and intended port configuration before attaching powered devices. A dedicated management connection is separate from the data-port count.
The hardware guide describes a fanless desktop platform using an external power supply. Confirm the offered adapter, mains cable and any mounting accessories on the quotation, and follow installation clearances and environmental guidance for the intended enclosure. The appliance order alone does not establish the accessories in a resale package.
Cisco publishes 880 Mbps for FW plus AVC plus IPS on its 1024-byte profile for the 1010, alongside a separate 195 Mbps TLS measurement. These are workload-specific reference results. Validate the intended traffic and software version, and specify any required security subscriptions independently of the hardware purchase.
