C9500-ACC-KIT-23I= is Cisco's 23-inch rack-mount accessory kit for the Catalyst 9500 Series. The official compatibility matrix assigns this exact kit to C9500-16X and does not assign it to Catalyst 9500 high-performance or C9500X switches.

What the kit includes

Cisco lists two 23-inch brackets, two 19-inch brackets, eight No. 12 pan-head screws and sixteen No. 8 flat-head screws. The mixed bracket inventory is intentional; receiving inspection should not treat the 19-inch pair as an unrelated item.

Use case

Select this PID when the approved cabinet uses 23-inch mounting geometry. Before installation, record rack standard, hole pattern, rail spacing, equipment depth, airflow direction and cable clearance. Confirm the actual chassis label is C9500-16X.

Do not infer four-point support

This accessory kit does not establish rear extension rails. A design requiring four-point support should be validated against C9500-4PT-KIT=. For an ordinary 19-inch replacement accessory set, compare C9500-ACC-KIT-19I= rather than assuming these PIDs have identical contents.

Receiving and installation

Reconcile the exact PID, bracket count and fastener count against Cisco's list. Reject bent brackets or mixed high-performance/C9500X hardware, and preserve photos plus the target switch serial in the installation record.
