5G multigigabit access with Advantage

C9300-48UN-A combines 48 Multigigabit copper access ports supporting 100M, 1G, 2.5G and 5G with UPOE and modular uplinks. The hardware token 48UN and software suffix A are independent purchasing boundaries.

Port and power acceptance

Map every multigigabit AP or endpoint to its required speed and power, then validate 5G negotiation over the installed copper plant. Cisco documents a 610 W PoE budget with the 1100 WAC supply for this model family.

Network Advantage boundary

Network Advantage is the higher default perpetual Network Stack tier. Validate requirements such as full routing scale, advanced segmentation, MACsec-256 or advanced resiliency against the current Cisco feature table.

Modular uplink and stack design

The base PID states modular uplinks; it does not identify an installed network module or optics. Record the exact uplink module, transceivers, peers and speeds. Verify StackWise member compatibility, stack cables, StackPower design, PSU redundancy, airflow and the intended IOS XE release before combining units.

Receiving evidence

Capture PID, serial, license state, power-supply and fan PIDs, uplink module, port-speed tests and UPOE budget. A chassis label alone does not prove that the intended license, PSU capacity, optics or subscriptions are present.
