C1-N7710-B26S2E Single-Supervisor Nexus 7710 Bundle

C1-N7710-B26S2E contains a Nexus 7710 chassis, one SUP2E supervisor and six FAB2 fabric modules. Cisco explicitly marks the package “NoPowSup.” It must not inherit the two-supervisor claim of C1-N7710-B26S2E-R simply because the remaining chassis and fabric components are similar.

Treat supervisor redundancy as an option

Verify the included SUP2E PID, serial, hardware revision, NX-OS image, boot variables and entitlement. The package has only one supervisor, so any requirement for stateful supervisor switchover needs a separately quoted compatible second module. Do not describe the base package as control-plane redundant until that hardware is physically present and tested.

Audit six fabric modules separately

Record every FAB2 module and confirm revision compatibility, fabric-plane state, error counters and chassis recognition. Run sustained traffic while reviewing fabric utilization and failure behavior. Line cards, optics and licenses are separate scope and must be reconciled against the target software release and switching design.

Supply power and manage retirement

Specify supported power supplies, facility feeds, cords and redundancy from the measured configuration because none are included. The Cisco ONE PID passed last support February 28, 2026; the underlying Nexus 7710 platform is listed for support through October 31, 2028. Remaining support for each line card, supervisor, fabric and software release may differ.
