ACX5448-M-AC-AFO Overview
The Juniper Networks ACX5400 Universal Metro Routers are top-of-rack routers with deep packet buffer solutions for metro network or aggregation environments. The ACX5400 router portfolio consists of high-performance, fixed-configuration, 1 U routers that add higher port densities, additional scalability, and improved latency to the ACX Series. The routers have a high-throughput Packet Forwarding Engine, which provides full duplex throughput of 800 Gbps.
The ACX5400 routers have a high-throughput Packet Forwarding Engine, and the performance of the control plane running on ACX5400 routers is enhanced by the 1.9-Ghz six-core Intel CPU with 32-GB of memory and two 100-GB enterprise-grade solid-state drives (SSDs) for storage.
As an Ethernet aggregation device with MACsec encryption, ACX5448-M helps network operators deploy 100GbE infrastructure and satisfy customized operational demands of individual network nodes.
ACX5448-M-AC-AFO is a 1U universal metro router suited for carrier aggregation, 5G backhaul and enterprise edge deployment. It offers 800 Gbps switching capacity, equipped with 44 MACsec-capable SFP+/SFP ports and 6 QSFP28 ports, powered by Junos OS with complete L2/L3, MPLS and EVPN forwarding functions.
Dual redundant AC power modules and hot-swappable fans with front-to-back airflow ensure stable operation. It supports SyncE and IEEE 1588v2 timing synchronization, advanced service features require independent license activation.
