The R230D is a remote radio unit (RRU) used in Huawei agile distributed Wi-Fi solution, recommended for environments with complex wall structures and a high-density of rooms, such as schools, hotels, apartments, and office meeting rooms. Huawei R230D uses an 86 mm plate in compliance with international standards and can be easily installed into a junction box in a room.
It is equipped with a built-in antenna and a hidden indicator; therefore, installation of the RRU does not affect indoor decorations and designs. It also has an IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless module and can be connected to wireless terminals, such as the laptops, tablets, and smartphones. 802.3af standards compliance makes cable routing easier for the R230D.

A large number of RUs can be deployed, which improves the overall performance and reduces network deployment costs.
