R4H06A is HPE Aruba Networking 518 Series delivers ruggedized APs for connectivity across the harshest environments. It can deliver maximum aggregate data rate of 3 Gbps (HE80/HE20) and can endure extreme temperatures, persistent moisture, precipitation, airborne contaminants, dust, salt sprays, and maximum 165 mph wind speeds. The purpose is to built to survive in harsh outdoor environments and extreme temperatures (-40˚C to +65˚C). It provides fast wired connections with 2.5 Gbps Ethernet and 1 Gbps Ethernet ports.The AP supports Bluetooth 5 and Zigbee wireless protocols through an integrated IoT radio.The target wake time (TWT) improves battery life of IoT devices. Series offers stronger encryption and authentication with WPA3, protected credentials/keys storage for guest access with Enhanced Open, and user and IoT access policy enforcement firewalls (PEF). It simplifies policy enforcement by using the PEF to encapsulate all traffic from the Access Point to the gateway (or mobility controller) for end-to-end encryption and inspection.

For enhanced device assurance, the access points include an installed Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for protected storage of credentials, keys, and boot code.
