AC6508 Overview

Huawei AC6508 is a small-capacity box access controller (AC) designed for small- and medium-sized enterprises. It can also function as a GE switch to implement wired and wireless access. This AC features high scalability and offers users considerable flexibility in configuring the number of managed access points (APs). In combination with Huawei APs, this AC can be used to construct small- and medium-sized campus networks, enterprise office networks, wireless Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs), and hotspot coverage networks.

The AC6508 can manage a maximum of 256 APs, which increases to 512 APs from V200R022C00. The AC6508 has two SFP+ optical ports and ten GE electrical ports, and provides up to 10 Gbit/s forwarding capability.
