AIR-AP1832I-A-K9 Overview

The Cisco® Aironet® 1830 Series delivers industry-leading wireless performance with support for the latest Wi-Fi standard, IEEE’s new 802.11ac Wave 2 specification, and meets the growing requirements of wireless networks by delivering a better user experience. 

The Cisco Aironet 1830 series access point is an 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Wave 2) access point, with internal antennas only. The access point can be mounted on a wall or a ceiling, and supports 2.4 GHz 3x3 802.11b/g/n MIMO and 5 GHz 3x3 802.11 a/n/ac (Wave 2) MIMO applications simultaneously.


The features of the Cisco Aironet 1832i series access points at release are:

Supports Cisco Mobility Express solution. The 1830 series access point can operate as a master AP (having an integrated wireless controller functionality) in a Cisco Mobility Express network.
