Warmly celebrate the 112th International Women's Day
With the footsteps of spring and feeling the vitality of spring, the 112th International Women's Day on March 8 came as promised.
International Women's Day, also known as "United Nations Women's Rights and International Peace Day" or "March 8" Women's Day, is a glorious festival for working women all over the world to unite and fight. On this day, women on all continents, regardless of nationality, race, language, culture, economy and politics, pay close attention to women's human rights.
In recent decades, four global conferences of the United Nations have strengthened the international women's movement. With the growth of the international women's movement, Women's Day has gained global significance. These developments make International Women's Day a day of solidarity and concerted efforts to demand the restitution of women's rights and their right to participate in political, economic and social life.
In December 1949, when the People's Republic of China was founded, the State Council of the Central People's Government made International Women's Day a statutory holiday for Chinese women. With the legalization of Women's Day on March 8, in the new period of socialist construction and reform and opening up, the concept of "women can hold up half the sky" has become the spiritual coordinate to inspire Chinese women's self-esteem, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-improvement, and has written a picture of the times with strong mountains and rivers.
